how to get rid of "security tool"
Help: i can't get rid of "security tool" which infected my computer. I've got it to the point where the only place it's located is now on my desktop. It was originnaly under "documents and settings\all users\app\data. The file is named "24932121.exe" and will not allow itself to be deleted. I have tried re-naming it, but that doesn't work. I have been able to find and delete all other areas in there computer where it was located. this is the last one i believe. any ideas how to get rid of it????1 person needs an answerI do too

Try this: 1. In a Run window (Windows key+R), type cmd and press Enter. From the prompt type CD %userprofile%\Desktop and press Enter, now type del name (where name is the file to be removed, e.g. abc.def) and press Enter. This should remove the file. If it does not, then keep the command prompt open and ..... 2. Hit Ctrl+Shift+Esc to open Task Manager. On the Processes Tab, select the explorer.exe process and end it to halt the desktop. Switch to the command prompt window and retry the del command. 3. Now restart explorer by going to the Application Tab of Task Manager > File > New Task. Enter explorer.exe and click OK to restart the desktop.
